Betafold (“we”, “the app”) connects app developers with testers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email address and profile picture from your Google account when you sign in, plus a unique user ID.
• Content you create: feedback, ratings, bug reports, posts, comments and screenshots you choose to attach.
• Activity and wallet: tests you join, credits earned and spent, purchase receipts (order IDs, pack sizes) and reward redemptions.
• Device and diagnostics: device model, Android version, RAM, crash reports and performance data, and app usage events used to improve the app.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play.

How we use it

To run your account, show your content in the app, grant credits, rank weekly leaders, prevent fraud and abuse, keep the app stable, and understand which features are used.

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring)
• PostHog (product analytics)
• Google Play (payments)

We do not sell your personal data. Your name, profile picture, posts and comments are visible to other users of the app. Your device model and Android version are shown on the feedback you submit.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by following the steps on our Delete account page. This removes your profile, credits, feedback, posts, comments and campaigns. Purchase receipts may be kept for fraud prevention and legal reasons.

Children

Betafold is not directed at children under 18.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with Google Firebase.
